BCG London actively hires new consultants from a wide range of different industries and backgrounds. You don’t need to have worked in the consulting industry before applying but you do need to demonstrate the excellent analytical and interpersonal skills that we believe make the best consultants. Each individual is assessed on their own merits and we count former doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, brand managers, engineers, Armed Forces personnel, actors and academics amongst our current London staff.

The level at which you join BCG will depend on the level and relevance of the skills that you have developed in your previous career. Industry/Experienced hires can join at various levels in the firm, typically at the Consultant level, but equally may also join as a Junior Consultant or Associate.

We also actively welcome applications from consulting professionals for our Project Leader and Principal positions. At the Project Leader and Principal level it is essential that you have worked within strategy consulting at some point in your career and have managed challenging consulting projects successfully,  demonstrating a high level of competency in the core analytical and interpersonal skills that we require.
