BCG London organises a range of events to give all staff the opportunity to have fun and get to know each other better. These events help to create the friendly, cohesive office of which we are very proud.
Events range from formally organised away weekends for the whole office to small groups heading on mountain biking or surfing weekends. Some examples can be found below:
Every two years the whole office spends three days away from London on a bonding trip. These trips are a great opportunity for the office to socialise together and have fun. Recent destinations have included Marrakesh, Malta, Madeira, and most recently Dubrovnik.

Each and every year, the office takes a break from daily activities to spend a day together at our bonding and training event. The 'Offsite Day' takes place at an interesting central London venue; recently we have visited: Lord's Cricket Ground, London Zoo and the Greenwich Maritime Museum. The climax of the day is a production from the much acclaimed BCG Drama group, where local BCG thespians take to the stage to cast a humorous eye on events and characters in the London office.

The Christmas party is another major event in the office social calendar, allowing BCG staff and their partners to get together and celebrate the successes of the year. The theme is different every year, and has recently included the "Roaring 20s", "Moulin Rouge", "Carnivale" and "Superheroes and Villains".

In addition to major events and parties the London office "book-ends" each month with two social events to ensure consultants are across the office news and have chance to catch-up socially. On the first Friday of every month the office gathers for "Office Friday", a presentation and discussion of news such as recent projects, new joiners, promotions and celebrations, followed by an informal lunch. On the last Friday evening of each month we host office drinks in a nearby pub or bar, following which many people continue late into the evening in nearby bars, clubs and restaurants.

The office is not without sporting talent and to ensure we showcase our skills among colleagues from other offices we participate in the annual BCG European football and volleyball tournament. The tournament venue has moved around Europe in recent years to cities including Athens, Madrid and Zurich. Next year's competition will be in Amsterdam.

BCG in London is a friendly office and we ensure that there is always something going on. The regular social events really help to provide plenty of opportunities to meet with peers and colleagues and equally relax at the end of a busy week.
BCG is seeking to better understand what is important to women in their work.
