Your Opportunity
Associates usually join BCG straight from University, having completed an Undergraduate/Masters degree. As one of the world's leading strategy-consulting firms, BCG offers an experience that spans many industries, clients, and business issues. Learning comes in all shapes and sizes, from a two week intensive orientation programme to ongoing monthly training to on-the-job apprenticeship.
For those who are seeking international experience, we also have an Associate Abroad Program through which Associates and Junior Consultants have the opportunity to work in another BCG office for 9 to 12 months.
As Associates acquire successful experience on projects, they are given greater autonomy and responsibility. Successful Associates may be promoted to Junior Consultant.
Your Challenge
As an Associate, you will be challenged to develop firsthand knowledge of clients' critical business issues. In the process, you will build client-management, problem-solving, and communications skills.
Your Impact
You will start making a difference on day one. You will be given ownership of significant segments of client projects, as well as responsibility for supporting the broader problem-solving effort. Working with BCG team members and clients, you will conduct interviews with key market players and industry specialists in and beyond BCG. You will analyse clients' business fundamentals, financial performance, and relative competitive position and suggest solutions to clients' problems. Your findings, as well as your contributions to team discussions, will help the team deliver impact for our clients.
